Clown Church is an interactive ritual disguised as a workshop. A session often begins with everyone on the floor, pretending to be dead, a guided descent into the body, before music coaxes the room back to life and into play. People come out the other side describing it as ego-breaking, as open-soul surgery, as the most alive they've felt in years.

It has run for years in LA, online through the pandemic and as immersive workshops at Esalen. It is just another path, like meditation, yoga, or dance, for the two things church was always meant to hold: community and flow.

No experience needed. All are welcome. Please come unprepared.
