The Presence In Play Teacher Training is a 200-hour certification for the people ready to carry this work into rooms of their own.

This work is an intersection of many paths that has been brought together over the years by one student who felt called to share it. If you've been to Clown Church, a retreat or workshop where you walked out cracked open, you already know it's bigger than Jet, it’s bigger than all of us.
The training changes that. It exists to put this work into the hands of people who can be trusted to hold it: to build a sacred container and guide people back to play. Not to perform but to come alive and to create space for others to do the same.
We are keeping the cohort small as this is the depths of the work.

You don't need to be a clown. You need to be someone people already trust to hold a room, or someone ready to become that.
This is built for:
Improvisers who sense that “being funny” is a by-product of joy and flow
Facilitators, coaches, and teachers who want a deeper, more embodied way to work
Healers and bodyworkers looking to add play and presence to their practice
Performers ready to teach, not just perform
If you finished the section above nodding, you're likely in the right place. You don’t have to be perfect to be brave.
-
200 hours, you'll learn to build and hold the full arc of this work:
The architecture of a session: the descent, stillness, music, play, ensemble, and the closing ceremony… and how to move a room through all of it
Facilitation over instruction: how to create space rather than perform expertise, the difference between teaching and guiding
The somatic and breath foundations that make the work land in the body instead of the mind
The essence: the State, the split brain, and games the unlock the spirit
Holding vulnerability safely: how to read a room in real time and keep people held when they go deep
Teaching under the Presence In Play method: what the work asks of you and how to carry the mission
-
The training moves the way a session does. It begins in the body, not on the page. You'll spend the early hours learning to descend yourself before you ever learn to descend a room, because you can't guide someone somewhere you can't go. From there you build outward: the space, the games, the sequencing, the reading of a room, the holding of what surfaces. By the end, you'll have led the work yourself, with feedback, in a real room.

Jet Eveleth spent two decades in Chicago comedy, a founding member of iO's legendary Harold team The Reckoning, a Second City veteran, half of the duo Adsit & Eveleth. Then a stretch in TV and film left her feeling disconnected and lost, and the search for what she was missing took her somewhere comedians don't usually go: a doctorate in integrative medicine, a mastery of Traditional Chinese Medicine, breathwork in the Pyrenees with Wim Hof, Taoist yoga, and the presence teachings of Eckhart Tolle.
She braided all of it back into clown, and the result is a practice that treats laughter as medicine and play as a path home. She has taught it at Esalen, at the Elysian, and in rooms full of professionals who came in skeptical and left converted. Her students tend to describe her classes in language usually reserved for surgery and religion.
The founding cohort
Cohort 1 is different from every cohort that follows, and that's the point.
Founding members get the founding rate of $2,950 against a standard tuition of $3,600.
It isn't a discount so much as a different agreement: you help shape the first cohort as a co-creator, and you share your testimonial and story.
You give the program the three things a new certification can't buy: proof, stories, and a foundation.
